ASSISTANT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE: BRANDS & MUSIC
Job Role
We’re looking for an ambitious individual with a hunger for earned media and content to join our Premier Brands & Music team within the wider Consumer Entertainment Department, covering gaming, music, sport, and brands. In just the past six months, we’ve delivered exciting campaigns for major music festivals like Wireless, launched Sky Sport’s Premier League season, opened UNIQLO’s new King’s Cross store, managed comms for The Booker Prize, unveiled 23 Paddington film statues across the UK, transformed the West End with artist Yinka Ilori, and ran the PR for the iconic Fender guitar brand.

As an Assistant Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team in delivering quality editorial coverage and content on our award-winning campaigns and you’ll have a direct impact on the success of the team.

Key tasks (Client Accounts)
Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of all the accounts you are across
Distribute to clients/team director and archive daily press cuttings
Collate client reports as required
Participate in brainstorms for campaigns and undertake research for proposals
Distribute press releases/assets and carry out media sell-ins as directed by the account team to secure news, previews, reviews, competitions and features
Set up and follow through with talent interviews as directed
Keep abreast of Entertainment, Arts, Consumer media personnel moves/changes and update database accordingly (including arts/consumer/entertainment reporters, listings editors, picture editors, influencers, bloggers, website editors etc)
Develop and maintain a broad knowledge – and take an active interest in – Entertainment / Consumer Brands / Arts / TV & Film industries as a whole (i.e., monitoring media)
Develop key contacts across traditional media, websites and social channels (including influencers) and acquire up to date knowledge of deadlines and PR feature opportunities
Proactively manage feature placements for clients, and all previews/listings, reviews and competition placements on accounts
Pro-actively foster relationships with third parties to assist in creating campaigns
Write press materials to a level ready to submit for client approval (requiring minimal input from senior team)
Attend and contribute to client meetings
Manage the quality output of your team Assistant Publicist and or interns
Identify and recommend new business leads, and where appropriate suggest next step forward
Key tasks (Office Management support)
Deal or forward emails and enquiries (in other team members’ absence) as appropriate

Follow all house systems and styles
Ensure the contact database is up to date and inform all staff of any key media changes
Occasional Premier Group assistance as requested by Directors
Reporting Line
You will report to the Director of the Brands & Music division.
